Basically I avoided leveling up my pokemon when I realised this was what I wanted to do. Then I went to go rename my Dratini and got distracted by getting into the Trust/Potential rooms on the way back (whoops… btw, Syn won every course with me.) I figured I’d likely take at least two tries to beat Morty.

I didn’t. I took one shot, managed to beat his level 25 gangar and the rest, as they, say, is history. Kind of pissed he took out Ash with one shot, though. And that I used all my awakenings when the Gangar kept putting my Emilio to sleep! (He used Mean Look.)

Anyway, now I can command pokemon to level fifty, and use serf. I’m also supposed to be able to use strength, I think, but ah, I don’t have that HM…

…for that matter I don’t use any water type pokemon. So, how about I go train a Magikrap to level 20…………………… later guys, I’m off to add and train a new member of my party!

Or like, maybe graduated from college recently enough they might remember how to do this shit thing I’m trying to do so I can get to derivatives? Like it’s algebra stuff but.

Okay here’s the thing.

I skipped ahead to the last chapter, so I could learn about derivatives, so I could skip to Calculus (as opposed to precalc.) I have this equation f(x)=(x+1)(x²-5x+2) and I’m supposed to find the zeros or roots or whatever you want to call them, BESIDES the obvious -1 bitsy.

SO PROBLEM. They’re decimals. Graphically, it’s not whole or pretty numbers.

If I work through it I end up at -2=x(x-5) or 0=x(x-5)+2

So like

HOW DO I SOLVE FOR X THERE THIS MAKES NO SENSE

I just know that -√2 ≤ x-5 < 0 Okay I don’t know that, but I know one term (x or x-5) has to be negative to get -2.

……….right anyway, help?

I know it seems like I’m looking for attention but I am seriously considering killing myself and I just want to see how many people actually care.

Experiencing some setbacks. Good news is, I like pie.

This is irony.

Unless I get too eager, I think I’m going to save this for the last semester of my senior year, effectively skipping graduation, since that gives me more time to make up the money and iron the starchy hills of details. It also means that I won’t have to worry about being a minor in any sense of the word in this country, and it’s a possibility that I could, somehow, earn more than enough money and make it to CANADA.

Basically, after I turn eighteen, I’m going to travel the world. But I need your help! I can’t do this alone! I still want someone to know where I am at all times. That means Companions. That means… You. I want YOU for a What Pencil Companion. Oh that’s cheesy, but seriously, you don’t have to be a biker. If you have something that can carry enough supplies—car, motorbike thingy, tricycle mod— then you don’t have to be right at my side at all times. Checkpoints are preferred if we don’t ride in the same vehicle or the same transportation that day—meet at the same place at the end of the day, and for meals.

The requirements that are hard to put on y’alls? Born in ‘96 or before; have said vehicle doobippies; willingness to camp places, use hostels, and accept the hospitality of people in the area; able to pay for your groceries (sorry!); and have a way to get back if you don’t go on the whole trip—i.e., take a train, ride back alone IN AN AUTOMOBILE (bikers just wouldn’t be safe!), get a ride from someone in the area, or other such things.

If you can’t be a Companion, but want to help, try thinking of a different way to contribute—for instance, a bike cleaning kit for Tigger.
